Digital cameras and cell phones are just about everywhere nowadays. One of the main things we hear from customers is "we want to have this printed big and framed". More often than not, the original image is set to a low resolution by default and unfortunately "big" is not possible. Low resolution by default allows the device to hold more images, conversely, higher resolution lowers this amount. If you know that what you are about to photograph you will want to do something with later on, be sure to set the camera to a higher resolution before you take it.
Depending on the device, you can print an image fairly large. DSLR cameras can produce great results, even at lower megapixels. iPhones and other smartphones, depending on the settings and lighting conditions, can also produce good prints up to 16" x 20" or even larger. One of the things we deal with a lot is blur. Nothing (yet) can fix blur. There are steps we can take to help reduce blur, but there isn't a magic "fix blur" button. Yet. |
